Pulse Polio Immunization on February 1

The office of the District Medical & Health Officer, East Khasi Hills will conduct the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization Programme (IPPI) 2021 in the District on 1st February, 2021 from 9 AM to 4 PM in the arranged booths throughout the District to be followed by house to house search and coverage activity on the 2nd & 3rd February, 2021.

The goal of the programme is to eradicate Poliomyelitis and to vaccinate all children under five years of age against polio virus in the District and the State in general.

All parents are therefore requested to bring their children below 5 years of age to the arranged booths in their respective locality for vaccination. Headmen, NGOs, Church leaders etc are also requested to join hands with the Department for the success of the programme.
