Prof Umdor appointed as NEHU Pro-VC
Prof Sumarbin Umdor from the department of Economics has been appointed as Pro Vice-Chancellor of the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Shillong campus.
An order issued by the Registrar (Incharge) on Monday said, “On the approval of the 192nd Executive Council…the Vice Chancellor is please to appoint Prof Sumarbin Umdor, Department of Economics, NEHU as Pro Vice Chancellor of Shillong Campus, NEHU.”
It said that the term of the office and other items and conditions of the above appointment of Pro Vice-Chancellor shall be as per Act and Statutes of the University as amended from time to time.
