Police recovered one grenade hidden since 2017

BAGHMARA: Acting on inputs provided by arrested GNLA cadre Bande Ch Marak @ Border @ Kora, South Garao Hills police recovered some ammunitions hidden by another cadre during the active days of GNLA.

According to police, one Chinese made hand grenade along with 25 rounds of 7.65 live ammunition were recovered from Dosogre area this morning.

Police said that the grenade and ammos were reported to have been hidden by one GNLA cadre namely Bande Ch Marak @ Border @ Kora, who was earlier arrested from Dosogre village in the year 2017.

Dosogre village is also the native village of Nikrak M Sangma @ Kaltush who has been recently arrested by South Garo Hills Police.
