Police assistance for ailing senior citizens & retired cops

In view of the nationwide lockdown & restriction of movement of general public & vehicles, retired police official and senior citizens who are sick are thus facing problems to get medicines in the district.

In this regard, the West Jaintia HIlls, District Executive Force would like to take steps to help those retired police official personnel and senior citizens who are required medicines for their sickness.

Such persons can therefore contact the nearest OCs/ICs in their respective areas and give the names of medicines that they are in need of and the same will be provided if available by the district police on payment basis.
