Plastic bags less than 50 microns ban

JOWAI: The Deputy Commissioner, West Jaiñtia Hills District has instructed all shopkeepers, sellers and users of plastic and compostable carry bags to comply with the provision of the Plastic Waste Management (PWM) Rules, 2016. Banning stocking, selling, distributing and use of plastic bags less than 50 microns in the District.
