Pick-up truck hits Meghalaya CM’s pilot car at Upper Shillong

A pick-up truck on Saturday hit the pilot car of Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma at Upper Shillong.
The chief minister was safe, police said.
The CM was on his way to Dawki in West Jaintia Hills, which is located along the Indo-Bangladesh border for an official programme, they said.
According to the police, due to the incident both the pick-up truck and the pilot car of the CM’s convoy were partially damaged.
Meanwhile, sources informed that the Chief Minister cancelled his programme after the accident.
