PhD conferred to Zaman Eddie Tongper

Zaman Eddie Tongper was conferred with the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU).

He completed his thesis titled “A Critical Study and Reorganization of Road Transportation Services for Tourists to Improve Tourism in Meghalaya”. He work under the supervision of Dr. Marina B. Marwein, Professor, School of Economics, Commerce and Management, MLCU, Shillong.

Zaman teaches at the Department of Tourism and Travel Management at MLCU and also serves as the Assistant Dean of Students.

He is the son of J Rymmai IPS (Retd) and Evanola Tongper and he is the younger sibling of Dr. Amanda C Tongper. His place of residence is Lumdiengmet, Umpling, Shillong.

Zaman was one of the first batch of students of Jaintia District Presbyterian English School in Jowai, which was established in 1994.
