PDF fields Mawkdoh against James

SHILLONG: The People Democratic Front (PDF) has decided to put up announced JJ Makdoh in the ensuing election to the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) from Mawhati constituency in Ri Bhoi District.

According to his close aides namely J Paul Mujai, Paul Makdoh and other expressed confidence in Makdoh and he is sure to win in the election against sitting MDC James Sylliang.

“JJ Makdoh is a teacher by profession and he is a trustworthy person and his decision to contest the MDC polls is because he wants to serve the people of Mawhati constituency,” they said.

They have also pointed out that the constituency is still lagging behind in terms of developmental activities, hence they are in need of a public representative who can serve the need of the people.
