    Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday the integrated check gates to ensure there is no leakage of revenue will be set up within the next 3-4 months.

    “We have already given the work order to TCIL, which is a government agency and now it is doing the consultancy. We are hopeful that in the next 3-4 months, we will be able to put in these integrated check gates in the main exit points, to ensure there is no more revenue leakages,” Sangma said while replying on the budget discussion in the Assembly.

    The CM also informed that the process for auctioning of the 2 lakh metric tonnes of coal will be completed within the next two-three weeks.

    On the steps taken by the government to start scientific mining in the state, Sangma said over 1200 miners have attended training conducted on how to go ahead with scientific mining and applying for mining lease. He said the government will continue to provide training to more miners.
