Online applications open for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships for ST & SC students in Meghalaya

The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Meghalaya, has announced that online applications for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships for Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) students for the academic year 2025–26 are now open on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) 2.0.

Students can submit fresh and renewal applications from July 1, 2025, to November 28, 2025. The verification of applications by institutes will be carried out until December 19, 2025, while the final verification by the state authorities will conclude on January 16, 2026.

The scholarship schemes include:

1. Umbrella Scheme of Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships for ST Students
2. Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships for SC Students
