    The present batch of students who will appear for their respective Higher Secondary School Examination will be the first batch of students from Meghalaya who will have to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) as there is no indication of any exemption of Meghalaya from the purview of CUET.

    Notably the National Testing Agency on Tuesday night opened the Online Application Forms for the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG) 2024] for Admission to Undergraduate Programmes to NEHU and other Central Universities etc.

    The CUET is also compulsory for other Participating Universities / Institutions Organizations / Autonomous Colleges.

    As decided by the UGC, for the Academic Session 2024-25, CUET (UG) – 2024 will be conducted in the Hybrid mode (Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Pen & Paper).

    The Online Submission of Application Form is from 27 February to 26 March 2024 (Up to 11:50 P.M.)

    The last date of successful transaction of fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/UPI is 26 March 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M.)

    Correction in Particulars is 28 March to 29 March 2024 (Up to 11:50 P.M.) while the announcement of the City of Examination is from 30 April 2024 onwards.

    Downloading Admit Cards from the NTA website is the second week of May 2024.

    Date of Examination is between 15 May and 31 May 2024 while display of Recorded Responses and Answer Keys will be announced later on the website

    The declaration of Result on the NTA website is 30 June 2024.

    In the state of Meghalaya, the National Testing Agency has set up three centres viz Jowai, Shillong and Tura.
