In response to recent reports of fake appointment offers being circulated by unscrupulous elements, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) on Saturday urged the public to remain cautious and avoid falling prey to such fraudulent activities.

The company highlighted that all legitimate job vacancies are announced exclusively on its official website, www.ongcindia.com, and advised potential applicants to verify any recruitment-related information through this official channel.

“The ONGC is a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, clarified that all recruitment procedures are conducted transparently, impartially, and in strict adherence to Central government guidelines. ONGC emphasized that its hiring practices are governed by a robust company policy, ensuring fairness and accountability,” a statement of the oil company stated.
