One person killed by lightning in Golf Link

In a tragic incident, one person was killed due to lightning strike in a famous tourist spot in Shillong City on Sunday.

Police said three persons had been thunderstruck and found lying unconscious at Love Jungle in Golflink, Shillong.

Police said the three were shifted to Civil hospital Shillong but one of them named Dinesh Nonglang 37 year from Mawlai Umjaiur was declared dead.
Police informed the three persons were playing football at Golflink golf course(jungle love) then rain started to fall heavily.

Police said to protect from the rain they took shelter under a pine tree then suddenly lightning strike and all of them fall down on the ground.
