One arrested with heroin in Jingkieng

A drug trafficker was arrested along with heroin from Jingkieng Nongthymmai on Monday.

Heroin weighing 217.19 grams packed in 16 soap boxes, cash Rs 3.31 lakh, scooty (ML 05Q 8300) and one mobile phone was recovered from his possession during a raid conducted by ANTF East Khasi Hills, police said.

A case has been registered with the Laitumkhrah police station, they said.
