One arrested, heroin seized in Laitkor
A 25-year-old boy was arrested along with heroin from Laitkor Rngi on Sunday.
SP (City) Vivek Syiem informed that based on input received from West Garo Hills police who had ascertained the sender of drugs seized in Tura, the East Khasi Hills ANTF team along with Madanrting police raided the residence of Bryan Nongmor, 25 years of Laitkor Rngi and recovered 10 empty tobacco tins, 1 tobacco tin containing heroin weighing 0.69 grams, 1 soap box containing a heat sealed packet having heroin of 3.74 grams and one mobile phone.
He said the total heroin seized is 4.43gms.
A case under the NDPS Act has been registered at the Madanrting police station.
