One arrested, 2 stolen scooties recovered in NGH

One person was arrested along with stolen scooties in North Garo Hills district on Sunday.

Through sustained efforts, diligent investigation, and effective case follow-up, the North Garo Hills District Police successfully recovered the two stolen scooties, police said. 

The recovery was made possible based on leads provided by the accused, Palsrang R Marak alias Chusrang (20), a resident of Tengasot, Goalpara, they said.

The case was registered with the Resubelpara Police Station. 

The accused has been forwarded to the Court for further legal proceedings.

The North Garo Hills police said that it remain committed to upholding law and order and ensuring justice through prompt and professional action.

Earlier on Thursday one scooty was also recovered and accused arrested.
