    The ruling National People’s Party (NPP) is aggressively campaigning for the upcoming GHADC election.

    On Tuesday, top party leaders from across Northeast reached Garo Hills to drum up support for party candidates.

    Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong, Rajya Sabha MP Dr WR Kharlukhi and other cabinet ministers including Snaiwbhalang Dhar addressed various election meetings in East Garo Hills –  Rongsak and Songsak.

    Speaking in one of the meetings, the Chief Minister said that the NPP has been widely accepted by the people and the party is all set to win the election with a thumping majority.

    Deputy CM Prestone Tynsong said that NPP has become the most promising party in Northeast.

    He said that a party from Meghalaya is now being accepted in different parts of the country.

    He urged the public to vote for NPP and ensure that the party works for the people of Garo Hills, Meghalaya and the rest of the country.
