    Out of the 29 Constituencies under the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) which will go to poll on February 21, next year, the National People’s Party (NPP) on Monday released the list of six candidates in its second list while the list of 20 candidates was already declared on the 6th of this month and the party is yet to declared its candidates from three constituencies namely 20- Muthlong Sohkymphor, 21- Tuber Wapungshnong and 23 Rymbai Khliehriat

    The second list was officially communicated to the media houses in Meghalaya by Former Mylliem MLA and NPP Meghalaya State Unit Working President Hamletson Dohling.

    The party has fielded Remdorkupar Lyngdoh from 13-Saphai, Warmanship Shadap from 14-Mowkaiaw, Dr. Dachemlok Isniaw Kjam from 18-Jowai North in West Jaintia Hills District while the party has selected sitting MDC Krison Langstang to compete from 26-Sumer and sitting MDC Arbor Hima Darnei from 27-Saipung-NongkhIieh.

    According to the official list, the NPP has decided to field Sonapyrdi Village Secretary Daiapherbha Lamare from 28-Narpuh Constituency.

    Notably in the first list, the NPP fielded JHADC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Thombor Shiwat from Modop Umladang, JHADC Chairman Dr. Sankey Shangpung, from Bataw Lakadong, Holando Lamin from War Central, Het Pohthmi from War West, Lakhon Dkhar from Amwi-Khliehtyrshi, Ailad Bhoi from Mukhla-Ummulong, Jesse Suiam from Moodymmai-Nongkhroh, Eveningstar Teron from Mynso-Nongjngi, Rudaioo Tang from Shilliang Myntang, Aiborlang Shadap from Barato-Mukroh, Phasmon Dkhar from Musniang-Rngad and Hambertus Nongtdu from Sutnga-Nongkhlieh.
