NPP chief sends best wishes to newly elected MPs of Meghalaya

National People’s Party (NPP) national president and chief minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday sent his best wishes to the newly elected Tura MP Saleng A Sangma and Shillong MP Ricky AJ Syngkon.

Taking to X, Sangma said, “We humbly accept and respect the mandate of the people and wish Mr Saleng A Sangma and Mr Ricky Andrew J Syngkon the very best.”

Ricky AJ Syngkon of the VPP defeated three times sitting Shillong MP Vincent H Pala of the Congress by a massive margin of over 3.7 lakh votes while Saleng A Sangma of the Indian National Congress unseated Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma’s sister Agatha Sangma by a massive margin of over 1.55 lakh votes of the total 6.74 lakh voters.
