No water supply for two days in Shillong

The Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department has issued a shutdown notice for two days on Wednesday & Thursday for Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme.

The shutdown is due to interconnection of D.I pipelines under Shifting of PHE utilities for improvement and widening of Shillong-Dawki Road (NH-40).

During this period, there will be no water supply to Shillong City and its adjoining areas and every attempt shall be made to the extent possible to supply water to the public at the earliest.
