No water supply for Mawlai town for 3 days
The Meghalaya PHE Department has informed that Mawlai (Umsohlang) Water Works shall be placed under Shutdown for 3 (Three) days from June 25 to 27, 2025 on account of emergency works.
The Supply of Water is expected to be resumed w.e.f 28th June 2025 (Morning).
The areas which will be affected during the above period are Kynton Massar, Umjaiur, Mawdatbaki, Phudmuri, Syllai Kariah, Motsyiar, Nonglum, Iewrynghep, Nongkwar, Mawroh, Nongpdeng, Patarim and Umthlong.
The Public are requested to Store Water for Utilization during Shutdown Period. The inconvenience that may be caused is regretted.
