    The District Magistrate East Jaintia Hills District has prohibited the parking of vehicles on any of the bridges along Lumshnong-Malidor area of the on the National Highway 6.

    The prohibitory order was issued on Friday in view of the fact during landslides/mudslides vehicle are parked for long hours on the bridges along Lumshnong Malidor areas.

    Moreover, most of the bridges on the said areas in need of repair, the parking of vehicles on the bridges might pose a danger to the vehicles parked and may cause untoward incidents.
