No proposal to create new C&RD blocks: Govt

C&RD Minister Abu Taher Mondal on Friday said that there is no proposal to create new C&RD blocks in the state.

Speaking to reporters, Mondal said, “As of now, no proposal for creation of new C&RD blocks. As I told you earlier, it is a continuous process as and when the government feels the necessity and requirement then the government will go for creation of new blocks.”  

The minister said that the government has received around 5-6 applications for the creation of new C&RD blocks.

“We received applications for creation but as of now from the government side there is no proposal to create new blocks,” he added.
