BJP state president Ernest Mawrie on Tuesday said the message on the ground is clear that no government will be formed without the BJP in 2023.

He was reacting to the claims and counter claims by various political parties about obtaining a majority in the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.

Calling their (political parties) attention to the realities on the ground, Mawrie said that other political parties were building castles in the air.

He said that these parties believe that the voters are ignorant and can be manipulated.

“They are completely unaware about the mood of the voters. The people of Meghalaya have experienced the positive difference that BJP can create in the state through the various central schemes that have touched their lives,” he said.

“This time around, the people are determined to elect a BJP led, development oriented, corruption free government that will work only for the people and the state,” he added.
