Chief Secretary DP Wahlang on Tuesday said there is no concrete evidence against illegal coal mining.

Speaking to reporters, Wahlang said, “Reports are coming on illegal coal mining. Whenever we get such reports, we basically asked the deputy commissioners (to take action).”

” As far as I am concerned and as far as the government is concerned, there is no concrete evidence that coal is being mine right now,” he added.
