    The Deputy Commissioner, South Garo Hills District has issued a directive that no casual leave/earned leave will be allow for state government employees in the district except for emergencies in view of the ensuing General Lok Sabha Election.

    The directive informed Election Commission of India has announced the date for holding General Election to Lok Sabha 2024 and the Model Code of Conduct has come into force with immediate effect in the district.

    The Deputy Commissioner directed all the Officers and staffs to remain in station all the time including Saturdays and Sundays especially those who are detailed for duties. Action will be taken against those violating this order.
