    The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya has conferred the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy to Pynbianglut Hadem in the department of Computer Science & Engineering on December 1.

    He completed his thesis titled, “Intrusion Detection and IP Traceback Schemes for Cybersecurity in Software Defined Networks”. He worked under the supervision of Professor D.K. Saikia, Tezpur University and Dr. Soumen Moulik, Asst. Professor NIT Meghalaya.

    Dr. Pynbianglut Hadem has also published the requisite numbers of SCI and SCOPUS journal papers in relation to his thesis. He is presently working as a Senior Scientist at National Informatics Centre (NIC), Shillong.

    Dr. Pynbianglut Hadem, is the son of Rev. WD Dkhar and Phiarly Hadem, resident of Mowkaiaw village, West Jaintia Hills District.
