    The District Magistrate in a separate orders issued on Saturday imposed Night Curfew in rural areas of East Khasi Hills District including Civil Sub-Division Sohra and Pynursla from 13 July to upto 20th July only for the timing of 10 pm to 5 am each day.

    The district magistrate has also prohibit inter-state movement, operation of unregulated major markets, educational institutions, training centres, opening of religious places, large public gathering and congregation and others.

    “These services shall strictly comply with all protocols and procedures including social distancing limiting of field staff to the barest minimum and other advisories of government in the health and family welfare department without fail,” she said.

    Meanwhile, curfew passes can be obtained via online application at www.eastkhasihills.gov.in.
