    The Deputy Commissioner (Supply) North Garo Hills, Resubelpara through a press communique has notified to all Government employees including Deficit and Adhoc Teachers of North Garo Hills district to surrender their Ration Card (AAY+PHH category) under NFSA.

    The Deputy Commissioner has declared this notification stating that Ration Card to NFSA beneficiaries was done as per the Socio Economic Caste Census 2011. Hence 14 years have passed after the 2011 census and therefore it may be right to state that there are many who have gotten service under the Government sector till date.

    Government employees do not fall under the criteria for holding Ration Card. Therefore they are requested to surrender their ration card so as to enable the genuine poor and needy families, labourers, physically handicapped as such possible beneficiaries.

    The Government employees holding Ration Card are hereby expected to surrender the ration card by 30th April 2025.

    Accordingly, the office is also preparing list of government employees holding ration card and if non compliance of this notice is found, they shall be dealt with as per law.

    Further, the Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has also informed individual beneficiaries under NFSA (AAY/PHH) to complete the e-KYC process. The wholesalers and FPS dealers are also directed to remain open their FPS centers daily in order to facilitate 100% completion of e-KYC process.
