    SHILLONG:Two matches were played today where N.F.U play against Riatsamthiah in the first match while Langsning CC and Malki battled it out in the second match of the Shillong League Super Division T20 tournament 2019 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at Polo cricket ground.

    In the first match, the toss was won by Riatsamthiah and they elected to bat first. Riatsamthiah managed to score 130/8 in 20 overs. Anish Charak scored 32 runs off 25 balls and Sylvester Mylliempdah made 25 runs off 28 balls. NFU bowlers Akash Kumar pick 2 wkts from 4 overs giving away only 14 runs and Mithun Das pick 2 wkts from 3 overs giving away 16 runs.

    In reply to the total of 130 runs scored by Riatsamthiah, NFU batsmen chased the score of 130 losing only 1 wkt in 13.3 overs. Raj Bishwas hitting his half century of 55 runs off just 27 balls and Purojit Mondal made 36 runs off 36 balls whereas the 1wkt goes to Rijied Marbaniang. The match was won NFU by 9 wkts.

    In the second match, Malki won the toss and elected to bat first. Malki somehow managed to score only 102/8 in 20 overs. Rohit Rai was the top scorer hitting 46 off 47 balls. Prolin Phanjom took 3 wkts from 4 overs for 18 runs and Sanvert Kurkalang pick 2 wkts from 4 overs for 17 runs.

    Langsning chased the target of 102 losing 5 wkts in 15.3 overs.  Eugene Kharsyntiew made 25 off 27 balls and Dathew Syngkon made 18 off 15 balls. Pankaj Chaddha pick 2 wkts and Rohit Rai 1 wkt from 4overs each. Langsning won the match by 5 wkts.
