New rules for installing solar lights in Amlarem Sub Division

The Sub-Divisional Officer, Amlarem Civil Sub-Division, Amlarem has informed that in light of only few remaining Stand Alone Solar lights, new rules have been framed which are as follows.

Rules:
(1) Process to apply:
Only applications from the Executive Committee of the Dorbar Shnong will be entertained with the signatures of the members of the Executive Committee.

(2) The application must indicate:
(a) Number of Solar Lights required.
(b) Places where the lights will be installed: – The lights can only be installed outside places of public interest like Community halls, schools, Anganwadi, Sub-Center, Tourist site and market areas.

Once approved an amount of Rs.6250 /- has to be deposited for each light the committee has to submit a compliance certificate within a month of the receipt of light.
