    Four earthquakes struck Nepal on Tuesday afternoon. The strongest one had a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter scale hitting at 14:51 IST.

    The epicentre of the earthquake was located at Latitude 29.39 North and Longitude 81.23 East in Nepal.

    According to the National Centre for Seismology, the first earthquake had a magnitude of 4.6 at a depth of 10 km and occurred at 14:25 IST, located at Latitude 29.37 North and Longitude 81.22 East.

    5.2 magnitude quake hits Meghalaya’s North Garo Hills

    The second earthquake struck at 14:51 PM with a magnitude of 6.2 and a depth of 5 km.

    The third earthquake had a magnitude of 3.6 and occurred at 15:06 IST at a depth of 15 km, followed by a 3.1 magnitude earthquake at 15:19 IST, located at Latitude 29.51 North and Longitude 81.11 East.

    An earthquake also struck Assam at 13:18 PM with a magnitude of 3.0 and a depth of 27 km, located at Latitude 26.20 North and Longitude 92.97 East.
