NEIGRIHMS lodges complaint against fake news
The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) has filed a complaint against fake messages being circulated in social media about nursing recruitment.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, NEIGRIHMS public relation officer Dr Cornerstone Wann said there was a fake message being circulated in social media about Nursing Recruitment (around 200 candidates) with proper resume without any interview with a promise of permanent post later.
“This circulation is fake and has caused a lot of confusion and false excitement (to aspiring nurses) and difficulties with the NEIGRIHMS Administration,” he said.
Dr Wann informed that the Cyber Crime Branch of the Meghalaya Police has been informed for taking necessary action.
