    On the proud occasion of the 79th Independence Day, drill contingents of cadets of 1 Assam Bn NCC showcased exemplary discipline and patriotism across Guwahati.

    At Khanapara Parade Ground, Cdt Ananta Tai led a strong contingent of 56 cadets, proudly securing the 2nd position in the March Past competition. Hon’ble CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma awarded the trophy.

    Meanwhile, at the Guwahati Assembly, Cdt Elkana Hmar led 40 cadets in a dignified March Past in front of Hon’ble Speaker Mr. Biswajit Daimary.

    At the High Court, under the command of Cdt Sumi Nath, a contingent of 30cadets participated in the ceremonial March Past. The event was graced by Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court Ashutosh Kumar.
