Mukul and 13 Congress MLAs likely to join TMC

Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Mukul Sangma along with 13 other MLAs are all set to quit the Congress in Meghalaya.

Sources informed on Thursday that the 14 MLAs are likely to merge with the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC).

They said that Sangma will make an official announcement after a meeting to be held on Friday.

According to sources, the MLAs were not happy with certain decisions of the AICC which include the appointment of the MPCC president Vincent H Pala.
