MPSC reschedules FSO test, updates Tura Polytechnic post

The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has issued two important public notices — one rescheduling the Screening Test for the post of Food Safety Officer and another correcting the category details for the post of Assistant System Engineer at Tura Polytechnic.
As per notice issue, the Screening Test for the Food Safety Officer post under the Commissionerate of Food Safety has been rescheduled to July 19, 2025. The examination will be conducted across five centres — Shillong, Tura, Jowai, Nongstoin, and Williamnagar.
The earlier notice issued on June 24 stands cancelled. Candidates are instructed to download fresh admit cards with full details of venue, subjects, and timings from the official MPSC website.
In a separate corrigendum, the MPSC announced a correction in the category of the Assistant System Engineer post in Tura Polytechnic, under the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education.

The revised classification is issued in accordance with Letter No. EDN.128/2022/237, dated March 13, 2024. The post, which was advertised under Advt No. MPSC/ADVT-39/1/2018-2019/21 dated April 13, 2018, is now categorised as Unreserved (UR).
Both notices are available on the official MPSC website.
