  • MPSC invites applications for technical posts; food safety officer exam rescheduled

    The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has issued Advertisement No. 14/2025, inviting online applications for several technical posts under various state government departments. Interested candidates can apply through the official website www.mpsc.nic.in by 5:00 PM on July 25, 2025.

    Available Posts:

    • Assistant Soil & Water Conservation Officer – 19 posts
    • Mechanic Motor Vehicle Instructor – 4 posts
    • Electrician Instructor – 2 posts

    These vacancies fall under the Soil and Water Conservation Department and the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, under the Department of Labour, Employment & Skill Development.

    Candidates are advised to check and update their online profiles before submitting their applications. Examination centres for these posts will be located in Shillong, Tura, Jowai, Williamnagar, and Nongstoin.

    For full details on eligibility criteria, pay scale, application fees, reservation policy, and selection process, candidates should refer to the official advertisement available on the MPSC website and notice boards at MPSC offices across the state.

    Separately, MPSC has rescheduled the Screening Test for the post of Food Safety Officer (April 2025). The exam, which was initially scheduled for July 12, will now be held on July 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, in view of the Behdienkhlam Festival.

    Candidates must download fresh admit cards from the official website.

    Additionally, the exam centre earlier listed as “Bethel Presbyterian Hr. Sec School, Upper New Nongstoin” has been revised to “Anderson Hr. Sec School, Upper New Nongstoin.” All other exam centres remain unchanged.
