MPSC announces selection method for Typist posts

The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has notified the method of selection for candidates who have applied for the post of Typist in various government departments.

As per the notification (No. MPSC/D-48/3/2024-2025/79) dated August 19, 2025, the written examination in English will be descriptive in nature.

The paper will carry three components — Essay (15 marks), Comprehension (15 marks), and Grammar (20 marks) — which will be considered for merit under Para 6.1 (b).
