  • MPSC announces half yearly departmental examination for IAS and IPS Officers

    The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has issued a notification that the Half Yearly Departmental Examination for IAS and IPS officers will be conducted by the commission in the MPSC’s Office Building, Lower Lachumiere, Shillong on June 11th to 14th.

    The Officers who intend to appear at the examination should download the prescribed form viz: “Application Form for Half Yearly Departmental Examination, 2024” from the Commission’s website www.mpsc.nic.in. Completed forms should be submitted to the Secretary, Meghalaya Public Service Commission, Shillong, with intimation to the Government in the Personnel (A) Department. The deadline for submission is May 31st, 2024.

    Officers should write their full name, designation, place of posting, and cadre (IAS/IPS) in block letters on the application form. Failure to do so may result in rejection.

    The examination will include languages such as Assamese, Bengali, and various tribal languages (Mikir, Khasi, Lushai, Garo), along with Hindi as per government decision. Subjects should be clearly indicated in the application.

    Applications received after the deadline will not be considered, and no fresh applications will be accepted at the examination centre.
