Moves to achieve litter free Shillong city by April

In order to achieve litter free Shillong city by April this year, the Shillong Municipal Board has directed all commercial establishments, including street vendors to put in place litter bins in the front of their shops/establishment for use by customers as well as passersby.

The Board also directed the business establishments to ensure that the same is well maintained and the waste is properly’ disposed in the SMB Waste Collection vehicles.
