    Heavy vehicles are allowed to enter the Tura Municipal area between 8 PM and 6 AM, according to an order issued the Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills District on Tuesday.

    The order directed the entry to the Tura Municipal Area will only be till 6 AM and the exit from the Tura Municipal Area will be till 7 AM.

    The order informed that all government vehicles, including those from the Food Corporation of India, and vehicles carrying fuel, medicine and essential commodities as specified in the Essential commodities Act, 1955, are permitted to enter the Tura Municipal area at all times.

    The order mandated the drivers and operators to strictly adhere to traffic laws and regulations during transit, ensuring the safety of all users.

    The order informed that over speeding is strictly prohibited. Any violation of traffic regulation and the order will be subject to appropriate penalties.

    Drivers are instructed to maintain safe and reasonable speeds in accordance with designated limits along the route, promoting safe transit and minimizing risk.
