Further, in view of the improved situation in the State, the restrictions in permitted activities are revised as follows:

Maximum number of persons allowed in places of worship is increased to 75 % of the seating capacity.

Maximum number of persons allowed during any religious/Social/Private gatherings is increased to 75 % of the seating capacity.

Though the numbers of active cases and new cases have been declining steadily, there is a need for maintaining caution and strict surveillance so as to fully overcome the pandemic. It is observed that SOPs are not being followed strictly by all citizens. It may be noted that any complacency will lead to a surge in COVID-19 cases. Citizens are advised to exercise caution, follow all protocols and adhere to the SOPs to ensure that the State does not see resurgence in cases.

In addition, the citizens are requested to strictly – (a) Wear Face Masks (b) Maintain a Social Distancing of 6 feet (c) Follow Cough etiquette and regular wash hands with Soap and Water (c) No Spitting in Public Places, Violation is an offence punishable with fine under Section 51 (b) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
