In a commendable initiative to aid candidates for the Meghalaya Police Recruitment 2024, MLA Wailadmiki Shylla has organized the third edition of the Free Coaching Program. Scheduled from 9th to 11th January 2025, this program aims to provide aspiring candidates with essential guidance and preparation for the upcoming examinations.

Over 2800 candidates have enrolled in the workshop, including 1800+ in the AB category, 700+ in the UB category, and 350+ in the UBSI category. Participants come from both East and West Jaintia Hills.

The workshop will be held at three centres: Thomas Jones Synod College, Mihmyntdu, and Mukhla. The course covers subjects like English, Math, and General Knowledge, designed according to the syllabus provided by the concerned department.

The program’s main objectives are to guide candidates on what to study and what to avoid according to the examination syllabus, help those appearing for the upcoming DSC and other examinations, and support poor and rural youth who lack access to study materials and resources.

It is important to note that this coaching program does not guarantee success in the examination or job assurance.

This initiative reflects Wailadmiki Shylla’s dedication to empowering the youth of Meghalaya by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in competitive examinations. The community looks forward to seeing the positive impact of this program on the candidates’ futures.
