    Acting on credible inputs from the Military Intelligence Unit of Eastern Command, Meghalaya Police arrested one person from Mizoram from his residence in 9th mile Baridua, Ri Bhoi District Meghalaya with a huge cache of ammunitions and bones and horns of wild animals.

    Police informed that from his possession they seized 1052 numbers of AK 47 ammunition, 7 numbers of LMG 7.62 ammunition, 14 numbers of INSAS 5.56 ammunition, 30 numbers of .32 pistol ammunition, three numbers of empty cases, one each of Tear smoke grenades and and grenade besides one number of INSAS empty Magazine and three numbers of AK47 empty Magazine.

    Police said they also recovered one piece of lower jaw with teeth of wild boar, seven numbers of Deer Antlers (Horn) and one number of deer skull besides rubbers stamp seals of 34 numbers of variety government departments.
