Migrant workers can return to their place of work: DC Khliehriat

The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority, East Jaintia Hills District informs the general public that Counseling Centre/ Team at the District and Block Levels viz Khliehriat Block and Saipung Block for migrant labourers have been notified in the District to provide all necessary information regarding schemes of the Government, to extend the helping hands to migrant labourers, to identify avenues of employment.

He also informed that benefits can also be availed by the migrant labourers under different schemes and by providing necessary information by extending helping hand to those migrant workers who have returned to their native place and who wanted to return to their place of employment..
