MIDC directs completion of Crowborough hotel within 6 months
The Meghalaya Industries Development Corporation (MIDC) on Wednesday dIrected the implementing agency to complete the Crowborough hotel at Khyndai-Lad within six months.
“We have directed that the hotel should be completed within six months time,” MIDC chairman, Comingone Ymbon told reporters after an inspection to the site.
He said the implementing agency was also asked to submit a monthly report on the progress of work.
Asked, Ymbon said if completed within the deadline given, the hotel can be made operational by March or April next year.
The former minister informed that the corporation had already sanctioned loan of Rs 30 crore of Rs 45 crore required for completion of the project.
“The hotel will accordingly be handed over to the Ms Aura Hotel and Resorts Ltd, which has been given 10 years time to repay the loan to the MIDC,” he said
