    Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma on Tuesday informed that the celebration of the 4th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in Meghalaya has been postponed to July 29.

    The ‘Shiksha Saptah’ is being organized under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to celebrate the 4th anniversary of NEP 2020.

    “All schools of Meghalaya are hereby informed that the activities to be held on July 28 (Sunday) as per schedule enclosed and circulated earlier has been postponed to July 29 (Monday),” Sangma said in a statement.

    He said the celebration had already begun since yesterday in the state but since the last day falls on a Sunday, it was decided that the celebration will be postponed to Monday.
