Meghalaya set to compete in Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2025-26

The Meghalaya team departed for West Bengal on September 3 to take part in the Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2025-26.
Placed in Group D, Meghalaya will face Railways, Sikkim, and hosts West Bengal. The 20-member squad, selected by the Meghalaya Football Association, blends experienced players with promising newcomers.
Goalkeeper Ribansi Jamu, recently part of India’s AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup squad, makes a notable inclusion, bringing international exposure despite limited game time. Seasoned players like Makrisha Songthiang and Nisilia Majaw, along with young talents Eiladki Ksoo and Inrilaidor Khongthaw, strengthen the team.
