    SHILLONG: Meghalaya Police Football Team defeated Manipur Police 2-1 at the 67th BN Mullick Memorial of the All India Police Meet Football Tournament 2019 in Kerala.

    MLPFT‘s Coach Kyrsoi Mawphniang  had stated that the team had a tough day ever since they step foot in Kerala because of the different climatic condition some of his players fall sick when they arrived.

    The skipper Newan-o Gatphoh couldn’t take part in the match because of fever but even though the team won because of the hard work they have shown and also they played better in the course of the match.

    MLPFT were a dominant side, they could score more but the chances were waste- off but in the 57 min MLPFT got a goal through Saleng Sangma (57) followed by a goal from Raja Shadap (63).

    Manipur Police tried their best to equalize and in the dying minutes of the match they scored to end the match at 2-1.

    MLPFT next match will be against SSB on 30 Jan. 19.
