Meghalaya mourned Queen Elizabeth II demise

The State of Meghalaya will join hand with the rest of the world to mourn the demise of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland who passed away on Thursday

As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, the Government has decided that there will be one day state mourning on Sunday throughout the state.

During the period of state mourning the National Flag will be flown at half mast throughout the state and there will be no official entertainment on the day.
